Preview monitor

All of a sudden I have lost the ability to preview the timeline. I see the black rectangle where the video normaly plays in, but it is not there. I see the clips
in the timeline and can see them in the trimmer window. I have not selected preview to external monitor. This is very puzzling because it was working fine last week. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you hit the split screen button ?

No, split screen is off. I've tried just about everything.

Reset Vegas by holding down either shift and ctrl, or shift and alt, I can remember which one, while vegas is loading.

I got short of time so I uninstalled and reinstalled. Everything is back to normal now. Thanks

I have a similar if not the same issue, I did the uninstall/reinstall and it is back, I don't know what to do, cause nothing seems to be causing it.

I will do the un/re-install again and see if it is ok. But Sony will ahve to look at this
