I have used MS extensively with my Panasonic GS400 to create many movies using my computer monitor for preview. Now I wish to preview with an external Monitor using the Cam as a pass through via my firewire connection. I cannot, however, get any image on my external monitor as a preview. No problem viewing tapes from the camcorder and capturing via firewire. Can someone tell me if the problem I have is the MS 8 software not being able to deliver a preview to an external monitor or some other hook up problem. If so, can someone explicitely walk me through the set up so I can view my editing on an external monitor rather than my computer monitor. If the problem is the MS 8 software, what upgrade do I need to go to to get what I want?Thanks in advance.
