Show us what you see, because at the start my previewscreen is always black, untill I add files to edit.

Hi - Between posting this last night and starting up Movie Studio 17 this morning to take a screen shot in response to your post, the Preview Screen has now suddenly re-appeared again. Without me doing anything. Go figure.

As marked in the attached screenshot, the preview screen (where the "red X "is) was just black, despite media being added to the video and audio channels and the cursor being dragged through the timeline. So for now it seems my issue is resolved . . .Thanks anyway
