I'm unable to play anything but a simple video stream using the Preview to Ext. Monitor function in Vegas. If I put any effect on the clip, or try to superimpose one track over another, the picture freezez on the ext. monitor but automatically starts playing in the preview window. Is this normal, and if so, is there any way I can get a real time preview on an external monitor, either a tv set or second computer monitor on a second or dual head card, of all tracks and all effects ? (subject to the limitations of ones CPU power, of course) I just need a larger view of whats happening picture-wise.
