Preview to tape not working again

I can preview my video on my DV camera. when I print to tape, The video is there but the transitions don't work! During that time the camera flickers, when the transision is complete the video is back. What settings are off to cause this affect.

Are you going through the Print to tape option (under Tools) or are you putting the camera into record and using the Preview Out option?
