Never had this happen on any versions of Vegas including 8c until about 3 weeks ago. I started a project and when clicking on a video in the project media, I get the sound playing and sometime the first frame of video, but the video doesn't change.

I click on other footage and the sound plays but the picture stays what was there earlier?

Searched the forum and found something relating to the trimmer, but that's not my problem. I look for to your input.
