Ok, Now the Video Preview window temporarily enters split-screen preview mode when we slip-trim a video event... good job SoFo !
But the two images displayed are stretched vertically.... Why this ?
I prefere a display not stretched, even if the images are smaller.
Let's go a bit further... I'll suggest that if the preview window is docked, it maximizes on the docking area and shows two full screens during those split-screen operations, and restores to previous size on release.
I might also suggest that split-screen trimming be the default on *any* TL drag-trimming. It currently *is* also available when Ctrl-Alt-trimming and slipping. (maybe they are still working on it)
I noticed this split screen too. I would even put up with stretching for just having split screen.
Temporarily enlarging preview window will just screwup your layout. I'd rather have smaller previews in split screen mode. That also will be easier on your computer processor.
Nice job, SoFo!

P.S. Was looking at the article in some online digital video magazine. They were comparing FCP and Xpress DV. FCP snapshot had color correction dialog on the left and vectroscope on the right. Boy, does Vegas 4 look like FCP from far away. Well, maybe that's the idea - Vegas 4 is an FCP on a PC.
