Correct. There may be some resource issue where the computer is getting bogged down during the recording and is dropping frames which the capture software then dutifully captures. Try closing all unnecessary software when you do the capture.

If the video player also shows duplicate frames you know it isn't a VEGAS issue.

Of course. Hope you can figure this out.

If you get a file that works well in your media player but not in VEGAS please come back and tag one of us so we can test it. There are still issues decoding certain media.
