Previewing in an external TV with a Matrox G550

Is it possible to preview what is being edited in an external TV? I managed to do it in Premiere, but now I use Vegas Video and I've already tried everything.

Absolutely. But you do it through the firewire card. Just click on the "preview in external monitor" button and the signal will be sent through the firewire card to your camera/deck/convertor which you connect to the TV. Real-time previews of ALL effects on an external TV are wonderful.

Ok, but I have a Matrox G550 dedicated to do this thing; I don't want to have the MiniDV camera plugged-in.
