Print to Tape

I have a question, I am trying to render and then print to tape. How will I do this?/ If I render to .avi then print to tape how do I get the sound to the dv or d8 tape? I never had to this before since I only do dvd's. Thanks your response will be appreciated.

You can just use the 'Print Video to DV Tape' command in the Tools menu to print to tape directly from the timeline; it'll render as required and control the camera.

The DV data includes both video and audio, so you don't have to do anything special to get the sound transferred. Just connect your camcorder via firewire and you're all set.
