Print to tape

I just finished my 1st 2hr project on VV3 and i am planning to print it to VHS tape and burn DVD. Should I render it to MPEG 2 and then print to tape or do I need to render it twice - for VHS and DVD. What is the fastest and save way ?

What is your printing method? If you're printing through firewire to an external DV -> Analog converter, then you'll want to render to DV .avi for the VHS print. Once that render is complete, you can render to MPEG-2 from that file, which will save the time of having to render any effects, transitions, titles, etc. again.
