Hi
Download Scenalyzer, its a limited free demo but it would be useful to see if it shows up the same problems

I have a HP Memory printer that seemed to interfere because it has an OHCI conflicting file, I believe. I just unplug the connection. It seemed to be one of the things that worked for me but I'm no computer brain. I also disabled "Gateway Go Back" (which may be called something else in your model)that tracks your computers movements, hence slowing the process. I also have wireless internet which, since it is continually on line, interrupts the flow of info, so I disconnect it also. Good Luck.

DVcam,

I had a exact same effect with PTT - that's effect not cause. For me, every time my fan/s on my Dell Inspiron switched on/off they would interfere with the piping of the video through the OHCI port. Producing Blue Screen Hell. I don't know why this has been "designed-in" into the set-up. Only Mr Michael Dell and his engineers can answer that one. I only wish they had "designed-out" this "feature".

However, having downloaded a freeware fan Command & Control s/w for Inspirons - FanGui - I am now able to "force" the fan/s to stay on during PTT procedures. This works for me.

I only offer my experiences - 8 months in all! - so you can see how, potentially, cause and effect can come from some of the most wierdest and unexpected angles.

I too stripped my system to the barest; defragged; downloaded and updated drivers; disabled and dismembered anti-virus stuff; IRQ and quirked my way up the bloody wall; drank toooo much coffee and uplugged printers scanners firewire drives etc etc etc..... oh yes and the DMA thingy too. ONly to discover the fan stuff!

Now I have everthing running while I PTT. Internet, scanners, printers, viruis stuff etc etc etc.... no Blue Screen. Sorry to sound smug, but stay on in there. There has to be a solution to your problem. I still think there is some form of volt/amp drain as the fan/s blow hot and cold that is interrupting things. But I aint no pc engineer.

Just do me a favour, please... turn all sound and keep the ambient noise down low; get near as you can to hear your pc's fan/s and just see if the fan/s switching on/off happen at the same time as you get this PTT blue screening. Listen carefully and well maybe..... if it aint this, then at least we could knock this effect out of the equation, yeah? FanGui is, mostly, only for Dell Inspirons but your set up may be covered - if this is actually the cause.

Regards
