I posted this under the heading "Error - Message not found" but am guessing the poor choice of subject title is causing it to go unread.
When I try to print from the timeline with device control disabled, I'm receiving an error message - "an error occured - message not found."
The message referred to, I suppose, is the screen that pops up alerting you to to manually start your recorder.
My problem followed a re-install of WinXP and VV30 on my system. I don't know if that contributed to the problem (I'm thinking it should not). My media includes only video/audio captured and rendered in VV30, albeit, all media was captured prior to the re-install of WinXPPro and VV30.
I've done some short tests with newly created material and with short sections taken from each of the existing media. Both of those seem to work ok.
The problem seems intermittent - sometimes the 10-second alert box appears, sometimes not. Although my short test efforts seemed to work ok, when I line up all my project clips on the timeline for the project I'm working on (duration - 1:16:00), VV30 will either report the error during print from timeline, or, if the alert box does appear, the countdown starts without beeps, proceeds to around 5-second mark, then starts beeping, then the print to device appears to start, but hangs during the lead in.
If I take the same collection of media to the batch print window in vidcap30, it seems to print just fine.
Any suggestions on what's causing this and how to correct it would be appreciated.
BTW - The error message reads - ""an error has occurred 0x8007001f (message missing)"
