Print to tape issues

I have a JVC sr-vs20 mini dv/svhs vcr. as far as capturing , it works great,
but when its time to print to tape via firewire, no luck. Device control works, the vcr starts, but i get nothing but black. I have tried it in both Vegas and adobe. HELP!

Check you in/out setting on the camera?

DId you post this before? No - guess not. Well, I have the VS30 but something are probaby the same.

Make sure - I repeat - Make sure, that F1 is the input. Not L1 but F1. On the remote push 0 (Zero) than +/- until you see F1 on the screen. It might take a minute to click/connect onto the signal coming from the PC. You may even get a blue screen on the output of the VCR until you actually have the little counter up on your PC for a PTT, than it should go to video black. Hit the start for your PTT - is it working now?
