Print to Tape - possible bug

yirm wrote on 9/30/2002, 12:26 PM
I have a series of clips in my project, and I'm trying to print to tape (tools > print to tape). For some reason, it will only print the first clip (even though it pre-renders the whole thing). I've tried everything -- selecting everything, selecting nothing. There was space between some of the clips, so I added "blank media" to fill in the gaps. Nothing works. I've ended up rendering to a separate file to join the clips. I assume that will work. But anyone know why it's only printing the first clip on the timeline?

Are you printing the loop-region?

If so, you might need to stretch it the length of the project.

No, not printing the loop region. And guess what -- I just tried rendering the whole thing to another file. Only rendered the first clip. WTF!?!?!

Hi jf,

When you play the timeline is everything there?

Do you have any composite-mode tracks or mute/solo buttons active? They might interfere.

When I play the timeline from the original file (with the multiple clips), it plays all the way through. There are only two tracks -- one video and one audio (both captured from at the same time).

How very odd...

Can you render any other clip to a new track?

Do you have enough space on the destination drive?

Does your prerender folder/drive have enough space?

Have you re-booted?

Did you do the spititual interpretive movement in front of the CPU? (This *is* a bit freeky.)
