Dear Friends,
I am pulling my hair out trying to print to tape and I have left two email messages in tech support with no answer. Please help me if you can. Here is the lowdown:
1. I am running Windows 2000 Professional with Videofactory 2c. I have a Sony Digital 8 Handycam which is connected to my PC via a "purple all in wonder." I don't know what card I am using but it must be compatible with the purple all in wonder. I can capture to video perfectly and I hae made a 13 minute .avi file. Now I am trying to print this video from my PC back to my Sony Handycam so that i can view it on our TV (and make a vhs cassette for friends, etc). The prompt I get back is: "An error occurred while printing a file to the device. The file format is not cirrect for the current device." I figure the problem is a driver-ie, trying to get my PC/VF 2c to recognize my DV. So I went to the website to obtain some drivers. I downloaded the following files: DX80BDA,DX80NTENG,DX81NTENG. Still no luck. I have gone back thru all previous forums with problems like mine and tried their ideas but still no luck. Can some of your great minds out there help me because I can't even get tech support to return my email! - thanks - and Happy Canada Day for anyone celebrating this July 1st weekend.
