Print to VCR?

Can I print directly to a vcr tape from Vegas? I have an advc-100 hooked up to my Firewire card and I have the analog outputs going itno my vcr. I am able to preview the work on my tv monitor but I am not sure how to get the whole project onto the tape.
Any ideas?

Yes.

Connect the VCR in between the ADVC-100 and the TV monitor. Press record on the VCR before playing the video. In order to get audio you'll have to either Print To Tape from the timeline under Tools, or render to a DV .AVI file and use VidCap's Print-To-Tape feature. Just previewing only sends video out through firewire. You should also disable DV Device control.

If you really wanted to try this in preview mode, you could connect the VCR's audio input to the line out jack on the computer's sound card instead of connecting it to the ADVC-100. Any transitions, overlays, effects, titles, etc. will probably be jerky though. Rendering allows it to play smoother.

ok so to get the best overal audio/video quality I should just Print to Tape (render)?
Then hit record on my vcr and play through the Video Capture feature?
