Printing from timeline to dv tape

Just completed my first long program on Vegas 2 hours 12 min. At 2hr 9min it went to blank screen for a second then
started printing again. Also at 1 hr 23 min I had a gap in the audio. In the manual it said to calibrate print to tape
with Record setup delay and record engage delay. Will one of these settings help with the blank spot on the video?
If so which one and how much to adjust it. Will adusting the Audio playback buffering slider help with the audio gap.
If so how much to adjust it. My system if 1.9 Pentium 4, 512 DDR RAM, 120 gig 7200 rpm hard drive for video.

System hiccups are likely the cause of your gapping problem. Before printing a long project, you should defrag your drives, and shut down all other software (anti-virus, browser, outlook).

Have you tried printing the same project from the Vegas timeline (rather than from Video capture)?
