Same sort of question here. I have 2 avi's as events after each other. 1 of them = 18.51 mins long, the other is 5 minutes, total 23 something minutes.
When I 'render to New Track', it gives an error everytime, saving an avi that is always 19.49 minutes long..
You're probably running into the 4GB limit in Win98 (is that your OS?).
Why are you trying to render 2 avi's to a new track? If you want to print to tape, start vidcap, drop both avi's into the dialog box and PTT - I just did this with a 26-27 min project, and have a seamless vid this way. Otherwise, render a new file to whatever format you want (mpeg, wmv, etc...).
I'm running Win 2000.. And I was trying to connect the 2 avi's into 1 because my 'print video to dv tape' option didn't work. With VideoCapture it DID print to tape, but that only prints an avi.. So I needed 1 avi to get it on tape..
So it does connect my 2 avi's but it stops at 19:49 mins. That's like 4,1 GB. Does Win2K also have that 4 GB limit??
