Pro 12 & ASIO?

When enabled in preferences and use ASIO driver for my Focusrite Saffire Pro 40, Vegas Pro 12 constantly crashes.

This is an external audio device, firewire, a 64 bit driver, lastest version from Focusrite.

Anybody else having ASIO driver/sound card problems?

I vaguely recall some other reports of problems with Focusrite drivers.
Search the forums and see if you find something.

Hi Duff, I'm using the Saffire Pro 40 with Driver 4.0.0 (not the latest) and all is well except for the loss of visual sync in Vegas Pro12. Which driver version are you using?

Thanks for the reply. I am using the newest one that comes with the lastest control panel 3.1.0.- 64bit.

Oops, found the problem. Nvidia installed an audio driver with the update driver for my 560TI. Disabling the Nvidia audio driver fixed the problem.
