Pro 13 Credit Roll crash

I have a client who sends me a PDF of her program. In V11 and V12 I was able to copy the cast from the PDF and paste it into the Vegas credit roll (ctrl-c ctrl-v).

Just tried it in V13. First time it worked fine. In the same project I created another credit roll, tried pasting in 3 different chunks of cast names (as subitem text). At the third paste, Vegas crashed with no opportunity to send a report.

Any ideas?

No idea why that's happening, but as a workaround, have you tried either Protype titler, or NBFX titler? You could also paste into a static title, then do the credit roll using Pan/crop.

try pasting via notepad - i've found certain programs have 'hidden' elements that cause problems when pasted.

as has been discussed in many previous thread - what you cut and paste has a lot to do with source app, destination app, and unbelievably of most concern the Win OS on which your platfom is based - very different results can be had
