Pro 15 or Pro 16 won't open

All Vegas Pro versions worked fine until the update. I have done all of the trouble shooting that is on this site to try and get this fixed. Once I installed the last build of Vegas Pro 16, Pro 15 and Pro 16 won't open. They get to the UI installing and then just close. (It used to stop at the .net then close, so I guess it's getting a little further). No error message, nothing. It just disappears. My old Pro 13 and Pro 14 still open. I have done the reset of the program (holding control/shift while double clicking the icon on the desktop), uninstalled and reinstalled both programs and all plugins (multiple times) while rebooting in between the installs and uninstalls. I have updated my video driver (AMD Radeon R9 270) and all my drivers. I have all Windows Pro 10 updates.

Any ideas you have that might help me to get Vegas working again is appreciated. I have been working on this for a couple of days now and just can't seem to figure it out. How can a Vegas update create all this havoc?

Thanking you in advance for your help.

Thanks Nick. I already tried all of that in the link and nothing worked. I got to the place where my computer wouldn't even boot up. I must have done something wrong in all of the things that was suggested. Now I'm in the middle of downloading and reinstalling everything on my computer. Things got so messed up that the system restore wouldn't even work (Win 10 Pro). This is going to take weeks to get back where I was pre-Vegas Pro 16 update (my image back up was too old--lesson learned).

A little something I noticed that I thought I would share -- when reinstalling the plugins for the suite, the problem appears to be with the HitFilm Ignite plugin. After I installed them, Vegas Pro 16 wouldn't boot up. Once I uninstalled them, everything was working again. I have HitFilm and the Ignite plugins from them. I installed them, and everything is fine. Something is a bit wonky with the Ignite plugins for the Suite download. You might want to have someone take a look at that plugin download as I think that is the problem, well it was for me anyway. I won't be installing any of the legacy Vegas programs back in, so I will be losing several plugins. I had Vegas back to Vegas Pro 13 on my editing computer. With the clean O/S and software downloads, Vegas is working great again, but it was 3 days of non-stop frustration and aggravation before the huge computer crash, (thank the powers that be for backups) and with a few weeks left to get everything back on that computer, at least I can work on my project this week.

Happy Holidays! I know what I'll be doing..:-)
