problem adding clips to timeline

I have Vegas Movie Studio 10 Platinum edition. When I drag the film clips to the timeline I get a system running low on memory error as soon as I hit the 30 min mark on the timeline. So adding less that 30 min of film doesn't give a problem, but when I want to make a film of 60 minutes it does crash. The filmclips say Media offline and I get a playback error when I try to play the film on the timeline. I have a Intel Core I7 processor with 2,95 GB and 8Mb memory. I have closed all other programs while working in Movie Studio. I also tried version 11 off movie studio but it gives the same problem, also with the pro version. Somebody also suggested to me to use a program called Large Adresse Aware so I could use more of the memory of Windows 7 and it did work for a while, but this problem has now returned.
Does anyone has had the same problem with Vegas? All suggestions are welcome.

You didn't tell us a thing about the clips you are putting on the timeline that cause this problem. Post your complete media properties using MediaInfo, and someone will likely be able to help.

The clips are Mpeg 2 360*288*32, PAL recorded with a Sony DCR-SR90E camera.
It did work when someone on this board suggested to use the LAA file. I've retried to add the sony vegas movie studio 10 exe file to LAA but with no result.
