click the button that links to your movie. Ctrl/C, Ctrl/V - so now you've got 2 copies of the button. Position where needed. Click on the button that you don't want subtitles - change the object properties of the "set subtitle stream" to OFF, now click on the one that you do want subtitles and select the appropriate subtitle for the "set subtitle stream"

Wow, I didn't know I needed 2. 1 for on, and 1 for off. Thanks.

Maybe I misunderstood what it was you were after.

If you're after something like you see on the hollywood DVD's where you have a button to turn on subtitles and then go back to the main menu, well, that's a little harder in DVDA - to do this right you'd really need access to some low level authoring to keep track of the button state.

An alternative: Create 2 copies of the main menu, the "subtitle on" button would take you to the second copy - the movie link button on the copy has subtitles enabled on this menu, the original main menu would have the movie button with subtitles off.

Lots of possible variations.

Actually, what I did was make a "subtitle on" link and a "subtitle off" link on the options page. The user then clicks the return to main menu button which is default highlighted, then clicks "play movie" on the main menu. TaDa!!
