problem in render to A.V.I

Hi all I have just finished editing 3 short movies in VV5 of 6m45s--7m 30s
and 9m 26s long and when i render to AVI to import into Sonicfire pro,they
all end up at 4m 42s long, even when playing them in WM PLAYER they are
still 4m 42s. can anyone tell me why
