Hi everyone! I did some searches for this, but I couldn't find anything posted about it.
I've been making Blu Rays with DVD Architect 5.0 ever since it came out, and I've had no problems with Blu Rays. However, a problem has just started.
When I make a Blu Ray, I'll add the video file one of two ways. The first is straight forward - I open a new project with Blu Ray settings, author it, and burn it.
Here's the second way: I author the DVD version and burn it. Then I change the project settings to Blu Ray, go into the timeline and replace the DVD file with the Blu Ray file. I do this by dragging it on top of the DVD file.
Both ways work well for me. I prefer the second, as I can't change the volume name in a Blu Ray project.
So, here's my problem! I rendered a Blu Ray file with the exact same settings I've used in the past.
When I start off witha Blu Ray project, and bring in the file, I get the following message: "Warning: An error occurred while opening one or more files. The file is an unsupported format. OK Details" When I click on details, I get the file location followed by "could not be opened."
The file name is Recital.m2v As I said earlier, this is the same format all of my other Blu Ray files are, and I use the same settings in Vegas Pro. I use MainConcept MPEG-2 with = Blu-ray 1920x1080-60i, 25 Mbps video stream. I'll use 1920 or 1440, depending on my mood at the time, how long I want to wait for the render, etc. Both have worked very well for me until now!
Here is the tweaking I will do with the rendering: I change Video quality to Higherst (31), I choose constant bit rate andd I may up the bit rate depending on the length of the file. I also click on the Audio tab, and click "Include audio stream."
In the second way, here is the error message I get: "An error occurred during this command (Id: 6049) The reason for the error could not be determined."
I have rendered the project a number of times, with some minor changes. I continue to get the same messages.
I'll appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks!
