Problem opening Adobe Audition 1.5 as editor

Hello!

I'm using Sony Vegas Movie Studio 8 and have always had it set under Preferences to use Adobe Audition 1.5 for audio editing. However, I'm now getting an error message that AA 1.5 cannot be opened, even though it does read the file and creates another copy in the original file folder. I'm using a new computer, Dell, with windows 10. Do I need a newer version of Adobe to make it compatible? Thanks for any help!

I doubt anyone here would know, but I've been wrong before.
Sony and Adobe don't consult with each other before editing software releases.
The fact that they are competitors in the same market may have something to do with that,

I suspect you would get a somewhat less ingratiating response if you asked the question on the Adobe user forum.
