Problem rendering AVCHD Vegas pro 14

Hello everyone,

I'm sorry if my eglish is bad, I speak french and it's not easy to me to speak english.

I have a serious problem in Vegas 14 :

I filmed a wedding in AVCHD 25p 50mbits/sec and i started to edit my moovie in vegas. But when I try to render my film, the result is bad ! There is a lot of black screen, freezes and much.

I tried to change every options, codec, format but it's useless. I tried to rendered a video from an other camera and it's work. And finally, i tried to renderd my AVCHD rushes in Vegas 13 trial version and it's work.

I think Vegas 14 can't manage my AVCHD files and I don't understand why... Have you got an idea ? It's important, the brides waiting for their film... :(

Please, help me ! (in simple english if it's possible ;) )

I join a video where you can see the problem. It's start at 50 sec on this test. But each render is different and the problem is never at the same place...

Which rendertemplate did you use? Have you already tried to render with disabled "GPU acceleration"?

Hi, i believe i have some same AVCHD 25p 50mbits clips on my SSD, i can test if you tell me wich template and settings use for the rendering, otherwise upload the clip from vimeo so i can render (and maybe others) for testing, for the experts on this forum also post the movie files mediainfo:

Hi, i downloaded all 3 files and set it on the timeline then used your project settings + rendertemplates (besides AVC/AAC/-MP4 as i couldn't find that one, must be my age;)), the other two (XAVC S long and AVCHD) are playing ok after rendering...so my guess its "gladly" not a fault of your movie files, hard to find out, do you use VP14 build 252 also?

renaud-devriendt wrote on 6/9/2017, 9:33 AM

I use VP14 244 build, but i think I just found the problem. I use the FX "Film Color" on my video track if I disable the FX, my problem disapear !!! (So happy) I think it's a bug with this FX... Is it the same with you ?

SphinxRa40 wrote on 6/9/2017, 9:44 AM

You mean "Film Color" from NewblueFX? then i used it just now and render it again and no problems again, but glad for you find the culprit, if it from NewblueFX that FX plugin try to go to build 252

Yes, Film Color from NewblueFX. I tried with buil 252 and i still have the problem. Strange... But i'm glad i'm finally done with this !

Thank you for yours answers !
