Problem rendering to MOV

Using MS Platinum 13. Trying to render to MOV but it isn't working. Used to have no problems with earlier versions of MS.

After trying to open the "rendered" MOV video it says "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."

Any ideas on changing settings? I tried using HD 1920 x 1080 with Sorenson Video 3 codec.

Windows Media Player does not support that antiquated Quicktime format.
Render an MP4 using one of the AVC codecs in Vegas.

Windows Media Player does indeed play .MOV files, at least in Windows 8.1.

Babyboy is right. Try playing the video with Quicktime or VLC Media Player.
