problem rendering whole movie

Hi
I just started using Vegas Movie Studio 9 and one of the movies I have completed editing wont render the entire movie. It is only rendering about 12 seconds of a 54 minute movie.

Can you tell me what I can do to fix this please.

I had to delete some scenes from the movie which is in AVI format and I have added images as well.

So I have images, audio & video.

thanks for your help everyone/anyone

James

I had same problem last year and found out it was due to having too many high res still photos in my video. VMS basically ran out of RAM to render the project. I had to go back & reduce all my photo sizes to a smaller resolution (something made easy by installing Windows XP Power Toys , i think it's called) and then it all rendered fine after that. Do you have a lot of high res stills? By the way, Eugena, who provides priceless help to many on this forumn, helped me with this issue last year. I think if you search the threads you will find some posts on this.

Sorry for the misspelling, I meant "Eugenia".

Hi

I think I have figured it out. All I did was when I chose to burn to DVD I unticked "render loop region only" when I did this it rendered fine but now my audio is slightly out of sync. aaarrggghhhh.

thankyou for your help by the way.

If anyone knows why my audio would be out of sync after rendering but in sync before rendering?

Speak soon
