I tried to save a project using the option to include a copy of the trimmed media onto another drive & it appeared to work OK. Just to be certain I clicked on the copy of the veg file & the project opened.
What puzzles me is that I see in the media pool more than one veg file. not just the one that I had just clicked on. Could this have come about because the project I had saved was actually made up of several other smaller projects that I had inserted using the cut & paste method?
I also saw in the media pool the path to some of the music files & JPEG's that aren't included in this new file but rather I see just links back to the original location of these files. I understood that the whole point of using this save with trimmed media option was that I would have in one new file everything needed to recreate my project just the way I had finished it.
