Problem with 32 bit rendering - Digital Juice

So far I have not yet been able to render any project of any complexity with 32 bit enabled. I have pin pointed the problem to my use of Digital Juice products. In simple projects I can render them, but I have a project that has a few timelines etc, and rendering either hangs or crashes on the first frame of the DJ clip.

In addition to this, some of the DJ clips are rendered completely wrong when using 32 bit properties. It seems 1.000 or 2.2222 makes no difference.

This is a frame of the correctly (8 bit) rendered clip - revealer on blue background:
8 bit image

This looks a little different (not purdy) in 32 bit (even the preview):
32 bit image

Rendered it using DVD Architect template (8 bit):

and 32 bit

Vegs are http://terje.bergesen.info/32bitvegas/8bit.veg and http://terje.bergesen.info/32bitvegas/32bit.veg

I have the revealer on the same site, and if someone wants to download it, I can give you the link to it if I get an assurance it will be deleted once it has been tested. I don't want to give the link to the revealer in this post though, since this is a commercial product and not owned by me.

Edit:
Why is it that verbalizing a problem often gives you the solution. Well, in this case I did at least find the solution to the visual differences between the two versions of the project. If I set the Alpha Channel of the revealer to "Pre-multiplied" it looks weird, if I set it to "Pre-multiplied (dirty)" it looks normal.

Now I just have to figure out about the Vegas crashing thing... Every time I hit the first frame of the first revealer in my project Vegas crashes. Sadly I can not replicate it in a simpler project.

Terje, I'll be glad to try it for you. You can contact me by clicking on my name in my profile.

Are you bringing the revealer in to Vegas as an AVI, an MOV or a frame sequence?
I've noticed that, every once in a while, I'll have to re-import a clip from my DJ DVD as it just doesn't look "right".
My big issue is when I try to loop a clip and the last frame doesn't match the first frame.
A re-import using a different method usually does it for me.

Yeah, I am a little afraid that it might be the .mov clips. I will try to export them as avis or image sequences and see if that changes things.

Well, step one completed. Changed the revealer to an image sequence. Didn't really help, Vegas crashes when it starts rendering the image sequence. But it does give me a hint, since the revealer is running on top of another Juce product, an HD background. So, the background is the problem when you try to run something with an alpha channel on top of it. I'll now replace the HD background with an image sequence and see what happens....

Yup, that worked. So the problem seems to be when I have a Digital Juice JB HD background and run a DJ revealer on top of this one in 32 bit, that makes Vegas crash, but of course, not all the time :-) Only in some projects, but at least consistently in those projects.

Currently it works fine, PNG sequences is the way to go with DJ. I can't seem to be able to render to uncompressed AVI, but...

I use DJ products as well and have 32bit render crashes like you described. Sounds like the issue relates to 32 bit mode and handling Quicktime Alpha channels.

Have had issues with Digital Juice.
Sent e-mails, left phone messages.
No response.
Suspect they've grown too quickly and have not grown their support staff to meet the need.
