Problem with chapters and standalone

Hi!

I have problems playing my created discs correctly on my Sony standalone DVD-Players (NS-900 and NS-305).
I did a "Music compilation" with several audio files (25) in it. Navigating etc. work correctly, but when a track, or chapter in this case, is finished it doesn't go on to the next one automatically. The new track title gets displayed on the TV and then audio freezes. Even the player's display freezes. When using WinDVD on my PC everything works as it should - after a track is over it progresses to the next one without a skip or any problem. I tried it with both PCM and AC3 encoded audio files with the same results. It seems like the Sony player can't handle the authoring for some reason. I may add that I have PAL players using the PAL widescreen option in DVDA.
Is there anything I could do to solve this problem?

I now found out that there's "just" a pause of about a minute before audio continues to play. I can also skip forward and backward and the tracks play immediatly and without a hitch. So the entry points should be correct. Somehow the player just doesn't get it to play one track right after the other...

So, no solution for this problem at all?
I thought of buying the program after using the demo cause the "Music compilation" feature is a thing I was looking for all the time. But if it's not working for me...
Maybe there are some other authoring products out there that have a similar feature???

We were able to reproduce this problem on a Sony set top player. This will be fixed in the next update. Thanks.

I had the same problem with the 1a Version.
With the 1b (build 196) Version the Sony standalone plays but there is
still a little break between the chapters, not known form video files.

Will this be fixed in an other update ?

I have the same problem and must cater to a variety of Sony players, all of which exhibit this bug. My deadline is very soon. WHEN exactly will This update be available?

Just wanted to add my appeal to this thread. I'm having the same problem with the Sony stand-alone player. Sonic, is there a planned release? Or perhaps even a patch we could install right away. I, too, have a deadline.....
