Problem with NewBlue CartoonerPlus, Vegas 21 and new computer

Well, it seems I have found the final solution. I was having some problems with Boris effects also and Maisie (at Boris) suggested the following:

Vegas caches some info about host plugins in a folder like this (adjust for your version of vegas): C:\Users\YOUR_ACCOUNT_NAME\AppData\Local\Vegas Pro\21.0 To purge the Vegas plugin cache you can delete the svfx_plugin_cache.bin and plugin_manager_cache.bin files in that folder and then delete all the files in there of form svfx_Ofx*.log Then relaunch Vegas and it will rescan all the plugins.

The OFX entries pertained to Boris and fixed their problem but deleting the two caches, I'm guessing, fixed the NewBlue problem.

Honestly clearing the cache is typically one of the first things we recommend. I guess that sort of slipped through the cracks with you probably because it was initially working for you.
