Something strange has happened to Media Manager on my VP8 setup.
The normal library containing my own files still works fine and is just as useful as it ever was. But I'm having a problem just with the Reference Library feature.
For some reason if I select the Loops and Samples library as the reference library it works just fine in that session - I can view the contents of the Reference Library just fine - but if I close Vegas down and then start it up again I get an error saying "The media library Sony Sound Series Loops and Samples could not be opened", followed by another one saying "The media library Sony Sound Series Loops and Samples in folder C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sony Media Manager already exists. Do you want to replace it?" If you say yes then it loads up the Reference Library OK again, but you just get the same error message next time you try to open VP8 again. (If you say No it just loads up OK without the Reference Library.)
I've tried re-installing VP8, the Media Manager, and the Loops and Samples Reference Library (V.2.51) but nothing has fixed the problem. Anyone else seen anything like this and have any idea how to fix it?
