Problem with video preview

DoctorDAN wrote on 5/29/2023, 9:19 PM

Evening folks! I am having this weird problem. I'll number the issues:

Preview is stretching when I open other windows, like fx, generators, etc. It doesn't happen when using crop and pan, althought there's a little lag

I can only see applied fx when I close the fx window or whatever window is open

It looks like this started after a GPU driver update. But I already performed a clean install of drivers and Vegas itself.

I'll edit this as I see other issues. Sorry for bad english

Thanks in advance

@DoctorDAN Hi, sorry I don't know much about this but I've read a couple of times about a similar thing, I think it's laptops & latest drivers https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/pre-visualisation-problem--141120/#ca881691

You need to specify GPU type and driver # for useful feedback. Still it's probably a NVIDIA laptop driver bug that affects everybody. If you don't want to revert to 522.30 or older try these settings in NVIDIA Control Panel as a workaround.

Custom PC (2022) Intel i5-13600K with UHD 770 iGPU with latest driver, MSI z690 Tomahawk motherboard, 64GB Corsair DDR5 5200 ram, NVIDIA 2080 Super (8GB) with latest studio driver, 2TB Hynix P41 SSD, Windows 11 Pro 64 bit

Dell XPS 15 laptop (2017) 32GB ram, NVIDIA 1050 (4GB) with latest studio driver, Intel i7-7700HQ with Intel 630 iGPU (latest available driver), dual internal SSD (256GB; 1TB), Windows 10 64 bit

@DoctorDAN Yeah, that is an issue with your graphics card. Try reverting to the previous driver before the update.
