Problems after installing Vegas 4 Demo

real strange problem that doesn't seem to be anywhere on the support site.
I downloaded the Demo version of Vegas Video 4 since I'm trying to find a program to edit my digi camcorder movies with. After I install and go into the program I can't see any of the text menu's!!!! The names will be there (file, view, options, help) but when I click on them there isn't anything on the popup menus!!!
This isn't because it's a demo either. I saw full menus on the demo before...
I'm on Windows 2000, BTW.

Hi Charles,

You might try changing the windows desktop theme and see if that helps...

You could also try changing the color bit-depth in your display settings, sometimes that helps.

Hey you were right. It was the windows skin I was using. Apparently Vegas isn't compatible with Windows Blinds. Removed the skin and no more problem!!
