I have used many versions of Vegas over the last 8 years and up until Vegas 8 I have never seen the following problem.

When I try to click and drag multiple clips and or picture files into the timeline at once, they move into the timeline, but are all overlapping each other.

In older versions I have owned it would place the clips next to each other snapped together so you could start editing from there.

Am I missing a setting that is preventing this from happening? Or is this just not possible in Vegas 8?
