Problems backing up DVDA made DVD's

HI,
I'm having problems when backing up DVDA made dvds.

I have converted my home videos to DVD using DVDA including menus and scene selection etc.
They work perfectly in my DVD player when completed and burnt by DVDA.

When I make copies of these DVD's, say with NERO, CD Clone, or DVD decrypter the menu structure no longer works, nor does the buttons.
IWhen inserting the DVD the menu wont come up, some other part of the DVD will, like the scene selection or the middle of the movie.
When trying to navigate the buttons on the scene selection or menu screen (if i can access it) they dont respond in the programmed way.

Has anybody else had this problem, how do i get around it. Why should the menu stucture change when i make a straight copy of the DVD.

thanks for any help

Archer

Were you using DVD Architect 1 or 2?

Version 1 made the VOB files slightly too large and this created DVDs that would play, but couldn't be copied.

Hmmmmm, those of you wanting copy protection for your DVDs might want to consider installing version 1 again. ;)
