Problems building proxy files

Trying to use Proxy Stream 15e to build proxy files for use on my XPsp3 system and Vegas Pro10. I get one clip converted at which point the process halts with a message complaining that one of the clip files is in use by another program.

I have tried rebooting and starting from scratch to make certain that no files are being used elsewhere, but the problem persists.

I just now decided to try my luck with Pro8, but the script will not start in Pro8. I get a message that

'the assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference'

What does that mean, and how might I fix the problem. I looked in the Script Menu folder for Pro8, and was surprised to find the script already there in that folder (I don't remember putting it there, but, perhaps I did some years ago).

Advice would be appreciated. Alternately, if someone can solve this problem for Pro10, that would work for me, also.

Since receiving a new HD cam for the holidays, I've managed to complete just one 10 minute project in Pro10 due to this proxy file conversion problem.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Ok. The Pro8 thing was easy to solve after searching the forum and going back to the download site to get the Pro8 version of Giles' wonderful script. I am re-converting my seven HD files as I type this. Hopefully, the process will complete this time.
