Problems playing DVD

I just made a DVD and received no error messages or anything.
The pop up:"DVD successfully burned" appeared, I put the DVD in and it won't play. Any ideas?

NVM, just burned it at a slower speed and it worked beautifully.

Burning at less-than-max speed is always a good idea.

Also use the best blanks you can get. Many here suggest using Taiyo-Uden or Verbatim.

Since I use Verbatim DVD+R (both SL and DL) I never had a problem. I also use Verbatim for BD-R and BD-RE.
