There is a talk Web radio program I listen to on a fairly regular basis that I'd like to record. Yes, I have permission from both the radio personality and the station manager. But I'm having a problem using Vegas 4.0--probably me!
What I do is tune into the program using WinAmp. I open Vegas with an empty audio track. I then arm the track for recording. Then I click on the Record button below the event window. It begins recording just fine, then within a few second--sometimes a few, sometimes several--it starts feeding back on itself with massive segments of cliped audio.
[Addemdum] This happens when the sound peaks over 0.0. I've tried reducing the voulume on WinAmp, but it appears to have no impact.
How can I do this and get a clean recording?
Thanks for your help!
