Problems updating my Vegas Pro 12

Dear people, I am confused. My VP12 (built 770) 64-bit stops when I try to render a HD video (nothing to do with 'loop region'). Both Sony Creative updates and the Error solution link sent me directly to VP14, but I can´t have it, of course. It doesn´t recognize my serial. I use the trial version, but never gained access to it. But, how can I fix my VP12?

I posted a question about this to the support yesterday but couldn´t find it again online for a follow up. Later on I saw that the update link at Sony Creative has changed from VP14 into 'vegaspro12suite' (Vegas Pro Suite/Version 12.0 Build 394), which I donloaded and still doesn´t render my project.

I oppened the same project in VP14 trial and it works well at rendering the the file, although it shows in the output the Boris add in the screen telling me where to buy it.

I have another serial for VP12 (built 770) 64-bit in a laptop. Tried again to send a request to the support just now and it didn´t go thru.

I wonder I can change my two serials into the new VP14, which worked well as a trial.

Hope somebody helps here. Can´t find a place to go. Thanks.

Try resetting VP12 by holding down CTRL and SHIFT when you launch it. This will delete all your settings. See https://www.custcenter.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2744/~/reset-software-to-default-settings

Upgrade to VP14 at https://support2.magix.com/customer/vegas/upgrade

I don't know why you said "nothing to do with 'loop region'". Should it have been something to do with 'loop region'? Please provide more detail about the problem.

Thanks, Nick. VP12 crashes while rendering a project. It progresses the rendering, but stops at some stage. A screen comes asking to report the problem which I do and it finally closes . It still renders a shorter video which could be related to the checking or not the 'select loop region', but it is not the case. If I ask for details of the error it says it is in the module for BCC (Boris Continuum) that I donwloaded years ago the trial but I don´t use it.

I did the 'CTRL and SHIFT as you suggest and now I can see the warning about my trial version of Boris FX in the preview panel. I will try to delete it, since I really don´t need it for my routine. Thanks again.
