Problems with Film Effects Dust

I keep disabling the dust by unchecking the enable box, but it just doesn't go away. Is there someway to put a stake through the heart of the dust effect? Don't like it. Don't want it. Just want it to stop.

Hi Horror,

You might try setting the plugin panel the way you like it, then saving the FX as a "preset" by typing a new name and clicking the floppy icon.

Then whenever you want that film effect, drag it from the window or select it from the dropdown menu when the panel opens.
