Problems with Flash and Vegas Movie 6

I just recently purchased Vegas 6 Movie Studio+DVD Platinum Edition. I had filmed a movie, and when i got Vegas, I captured it and edited it with no problems. Then I imported a Flash .SWF file into the movie. It was imported with no problems, however, the flash was extremely laggy and it was never where it was supposed to be. It's like this all the way through the movie and i've tried everything and nothing has worked. Is it because i have an older version of flash? Or because the quality gets worse when i transfer it from vegas to flash, and then flash again? please, somebody help me! I've spent hours trying and this movie is nothing without flash.

Try importing the flash into its own project and rendering to avi then import that file to your movie. I know it's working around the problem but it may help.
good luck

B-Rinks,
When you say the flash is laggy, are you refering to the Preview Window, or are you talking about the final rendered video file? The preview window will sometimes appear jerky and behind the audio, but the final rendered file will be fine. You can improve the preview window quality by clicking on the box above it and choosing one of the "Draft" quality settings. The preview window can also be affected by a lack of horsepower in your PC, processes running in the background, etc. But again, this won't affect the quality of your finished video.

What about prerendering to memory then previewing it?
