Problems with installation of V5

I'm trying to install Vegas 5 at work and I'm having problems. The computer already has Vegas 4.0 which is installed in the C:\Software\Sonic Foundry folder.
When I try to install it in the default directory (either Software or Program files, it says the Shared Plugins folder is used by a conflicting version of A Sonic Foundry product. I tried deinstalling and reinstalling Vegas 4, then Vegas 5 with no sucess...

Any ideas ?
Thanks,
Nat

I had V4 installed, when I installed V5, it defaulted to C:\Program Files\Sony, do you not get that as the default installation path? Have you tried manually changing the install and plugin paths?

I noticed that when I try to install, it doesn't show the patch to the shared plugins, this is strange, anyone has an idea ?
