Program will not open

After using movie studio Platinum 17 for several months, all of a sudden the program will not open. It starts but then I get a box that says Movie Studio Platinum has stopped working. There is an option to send a report. Is there a way to fix this? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Are you using source video files that contain 5 channel audio?
