Project markers.. I-frames.. BatchConverter

If I have a Vegas project with markers throughout.. and then I export to a DV-encoded AVI, but I choose to save Project Markers in the file.. If I take said AVI file into BatchConverter and use it to make .M2V files with the MainConcept MPEG2 plug-in, will it still read those markers and make I-frames (for DVD chapter markers) at those spots?

It does do this if you export an MPEG2 stream right from within Vegas, right?

That would have made life much easier. Either I have to frame serve it out to another encoder and enter the chapter points by hand or split the vegas file up and render each chapter seperate and combine those pieces in the authoring application i use ...
