Project Media Tab

I've lost my Project Media tab on the main screen. I've tried going to View and checking the corresponding box but that opens a new window with the project media. The box remains unchecked. None of the other tabs have that problem.
Vegas Platinum 9.

Have you tried to dock the window by dragging it?

"To dock a window, drag it to the docking area or a floating dock. Drop near the top of the window to create a tabbed window or a new docking area."
