I'm editing a video that was shot with the Sony FX1 in widescreen SD mode and a panasonic DVC20 set to 16:9 mode. When viewed in vidcap the captured video looks widescreen but when brought into vegas, it looks squeezed. My project setting is NTSC DV Widescreen and the media is set to the same properties. The only way the video looks correct is when I set the project properties to HD 1080 60i. The video that I captured is not HDV so what am I doing wrong? I should add that maintain aspect ratio is checked.
